盛鋼桶滑動閥用填充砂之開發與製造

Development and Production of Packing Sands for Sliding Gate Systems for Steel Ladles

摘要


裝填於盛鋼桶底部流鋼嘴内之填充砂是由高純度矽砂及鉀長石兩種天然礦物配製而成,其矽砂的SiO_2含量須大於98.5%,鉀長石的K_2O含量須大於12%以上。鉀長石的加入量是以K_2O+Na_2O含量控制在1.7~2.3%(卽2.0±0.3%)之間來決定。矽砂、長石採相同的粒度分佈,目標值為-10+14 mesh 40%,-4+20 mesh 40%。-20+28 mesh 20%填充砂之品質以能否讓流鋼嘴自然開口而定,其控制因素為矽砂純度,長石的種類與加入量,以及粒度分佈等,本文均加以探討。本砂先由實驗室配製,經現場試用成功後,目前中鋼已設廠生產自給自足。在煉鋼過程中居影響生產效率、品質、成本等關鍵地位之填充砂的研製成功,使能在國内自行生產,不但可擺脫日商控制,減少鉅額外滙支出,並可提高國內資源之利用價值,進而提昇了相關工業之水準。

Packing sands for sliding gate system for steel ladles consist of high purity silica sands and potash feldspars. High purity silica grains containing >98.5% SiO_2 and potash feldspars containing >12% K_2O are suitable for use in packing sands. The K_2O+Na_2O content of packing sands shall be controlled between 1.7 and 2.3%. Both silica and feldspar constituents should have a similar size distribution; The typical mix grading was characterized with 40% -10+14 mesh, 40% -14+20% mesh and 20% -20+28 mesh. That the quality of packing sands depends on the purity of silica sands, the kind and amount of feldspar, and mix grading was described. A pilot plant was set up to produce certain amount of pacing sands for steel production at CSC.
