薄鋼片用扁鋼胚表面品質處理技術之開發

Surface Quality Improvement in Continuously Cast Slabs For Strips

摘要


連續鑄造生產薄鋼片用扁鋼胚針氣孔、夾渣、殘渣點是主要表面缺陷,這些缺陷大部份隱藏在扁鋼胚的次表皮(subsurface),目視法檢測不出,諸此缺陷會在軋延薄鋼片表面上發生線性疤痕、表皮夾層、剝片等缺陷。新近開發的「檢驗燒除」之檢測方法,不但可預先知道扁鋼胚表面或次表皮缺陷狀況,與採取適當的表面處理措施,以減少扁鋼胚表面燒除作業的負荷量,亦可由其品質囘饋,做為修正煉鋼連鑄製程,提升扁鋼胚表面品質的重要依據。「檢驗燒除」在扁鋼胚精整工場試驗以來,最明顯的效益是提高扁鋼胚的產率,節約大量的能源,估計每年可以囘收七千五百萬元至一億元的效益。

Pinhole, blowhole, scum and slag spot are principal surface defects of continuously cast slabs. These defects almost embeded in the slab subsurface and cannot be detected by visual inspection. In case of ignorance, such defects will result in linear slabs, lamination and sliver defect on the rolled strips. Newly developed "check scarfing" inspection on slab not only can reveal the defect condition that can be treated in time to decrease the load of skin scarfing; but also can promote the surface quality by revising the process of steelmaking and continuous casting from its quality feedback information. The most remarkble increments of check scarfing being used in the slab conditioning line are yield increasement and energy saving. By estimation about 75 million to 1 billion NTdollars payment of material and energy loss can be saved.
