中油公司在地熱探勘及鑽井方面,至目前為止,就已鑽探的礦區而言,其目標之儲汽層百分之九十以上係在中下部中新世之盧山層內。在所有已鑽鑿的地熱井中,定向井幾佔總數的一半,而以定向鑽井方式施工的地熱井又幾乎全部在廬山層內。因此,由收集、整理在廬山層內實施定向鑽井的經驗、資料,檢討得失,提出可行的因應方法及最有利的施工步驟,實有其必要性。本文以地層特性與井程趨勢的關係、定向鑽井設計、定向鑽井實際作業中操作因素以及管串組配的構想等研討、分析可能遭遇的困難之原因,從經驗中或由已知的特性中整理出一些可供遵循的原則或施工步驟,作為將來在廬山層內實施定向鑽井的參考。
All the Geo-thermal directional wells in Taiwan were drilled in Lu-Shan Formation which is a thermal water bearing formation. An explanation for the difficulties encountered in well course correction becomes signigicant to future operations in such geo-thermal areas. This study describes how the formation tendency influences the well course control, directional orientation, and conventional rotary drilling assemblies. A sum up of all the directional drilling activities in Lu-Shan Formation presents beneficial suggestions of directional drilling design and procedures for future applications.
