摘要

臺灣油礦探探總處在民國七十三年十二月，完成了一口最深的探勘井－寶山十一號井。該井位於寶山構造，總深度為5,863公尺（19,231英呎），這是中油公司的最深記錄井。由於井深的影響，鑽井泥漿、套管水泥工程、及試氣工作等，均遭逢困擾，本總處逐一克服後，終於順利鑽達目標深度。此井已於民國七十四年九月一日正式生產，每日產氣量達14,000立方公尺。

The Taiwan Petroleum Exploration Division completed the deepest exploratory well, PS-11, in the Paoshan structure in 1984. The total depth is 5,863 meters (19,231 ft) that set a new deep well record in Taiwan. The proper design in drilling program, drilling fluid, bottom hole assemblies, and the selection of optimized drilling factors enabled the drilling of this well to reach the target depth smoothly. PS-11 became producing well on September 1, 1985, with a capacity of natural gas at 14,000 m^3/day.
