中鋼頂底吹轉爐之冶金特性及其經濟效益

摘要


自1949~1952年開發純氧氣頂吹轉爐以來,到了1960年代又陸續出現了純氧氣底吹轉爐的技術。頂吹轉爐之吹煉,在本質上是將所需的氧氣全量由頂部噴射到鋼浴液面而達到氧化精煉之目的;底吹轉爐則是藉由底部吹進氧氧,對鋼浴作強力的攪拌,以促進煉鋼的反應。依上述頂吹與底吹的操作,綜合兩者的優點,便於1970年代末期開發了頂底同吹法。此法的頂底同吹製程在冶金特性上,係以改善頂吹轉爐與底吹轉爐之吹煉弱點為目標。本篇報告卽以中鋼三號轉爐改造為頂底吹製程後之作業特性與效益作一敍述。

For experimenting with the L. B. E. process, permeable elements in the vessel bottom, a sonic meter with auto-blowing computer system and a plugging device for tapping hole were installed on No.3 LD converter at steelmaking plant of China Steel Corporation in January, 1985. The first LBE campaign was done successfully with satisfactory results and achieved excellent lining life of 1204 heats. This report outlines the LEB operational practices and the expected benefits.
