原料用結晶石灰石之抗磨耗性與顆粒之形狀、大小關係研究

Relationships Among Abrasive Resistance Characteristics and Particle Morphology and Size Distribution of the Crystalline Limestone

摘要


本研究是從粉體技術觀點來探討臺灣東部結晶質石灰石之磨耗特性,以減少生產過程中細粒及粉料之份量。採用形狀傅利葉(Fourier)描述法來分析花蓮縣三棧及青昌山兩地區石灰石的抗磨耗性與其顆粒形狀及大小之關係,並尋求耐磨耗的粒度區間及顆粒形狀,提供給業者在壓碎作業上選用碎石機之參考。試驗結果顯示:石灰石的磨耗率和顆粒大小分佈可按一般粉碎方程式表示:S_1=AX_1^(-α)。不同顆粒形狀的磨耗率則以扁狀最大,塊狀最小。在兩樣品中,青昌山石灰石要比三棧石灰石具有較强的坑磨耗特性。

The breakage characteristics of two crystalline limestones from eastern Taiwan were evaluated from the viewpoint of powder technology, thereby, providing guidelines for reducing the production of quantities of fines and powder fractions. The morphological Fourier descriptor was employed to measure the relationship among the abrasion resistance, particle shape and particle size distribution of two limestone ores from Chingchong Hill and Santzan areas, Hualien County; thus, the particular particle shape and particle size interval giving the highest abrasion resistance were noted. The latter were considered to be helpful for the selection of the most suitable crusher for the size reduction operation. Experimental results showed that the abrasion of particles followed the generalized selection of ore breakage, as: S_1=AX_1^(-α) The Chingchong Hill ore was shown to be more resistant towards abrasion than the Santzan ore.
