臺灣西南部泥岩的崩解行為與其顯微構造關係

The Slaking Behaviour and the Microstructures of the Mudstones in Southwestern Taiwan

摘要


本研究藉電子顯微鏡技術瞭解泥岩的顯微結構與其崩解行為間之關係。本區泥岩缺乏顯著的等向性排列,其破壞行為也無方向性可言。其壓縮結構因欠有利的再排列動力,使組成黏土與粉砂間多具書屋結構,其孔隙發達,受水侵入後卽有明顯之囘脹,泥向下移位,及造成組織鬆散現象。堆積物則充分發育出蜂巢結構。此等物質卽使再烘乾,因缺乏足夠之膠結物,且粉砂含量相對增加,易形成構造準穩定態終致滑落。新鮮泥岩顯示,於短時間內,水份之滲入受相當限制。其剝落層之形成或崩解主受化學性因素控制。其程度則與岩石表面之卽存裂隙有關。暗示純土木工程之防崩殊值懷疑。本文同時推測蜂巢結構堆積物之休止角為造成本區邊坡穩定與植生良好之天然條件,而高角度裸岩邊坡也將較中角度邊坡穩定。

The slaking behaviour of the mudstones in the SW Taiwan foothills was investigated and interpretated from the viewpoint of microstructures using SEM methods. The compressive fabric that composed of random orientated (isotropic) clay and silt particles with pronounced bookhouse fabric and high porosity, may relate to a heavy flocculation or agglomeration of the clay-silt particles and the lacking of a sufficient rotating force during their deposition and lithification. Most of the mudstone specimens, when contacted with water, resulted in swelling accompanied with the downward removal of the fine clay particles and disintegration of the mudstone structure. The water-attacked structures then even after being dried, became insufficient in cementing materials and relatively high in silt content that turned to be structural metastability. Slacking is the consequence.
