臺灣西南部泥岩坡地地貌與風化侵蝕之關係

The Relationships between the Morphology and the Weathering-Erosion Behavior of Mudstone Slopes in the Southwestern Taiwan

摘要


臺灣西南部泥岩之風化侵蝕嚴重,不僅造成南部各水庫大量淤砂、壽命減短,也使道路邊坡破壞、路基流失,對本地區之開發工作形成相當阻礙。臺灣省地狹人稠,都市各種活動皆呈過飽和。未來向平原以外地區發展乃勢所必然。如何克服、改善本區之地質障礙,對寸土寸金之臺灣實迫切之至。本研究以計量地形學之技術分析臺灣西南部泥岩惡地地區之地貌特徵。計測項目包括:接峰面(Summit plane)接谷面(Valley-bed plane)(兩者之差為起伏量,Relief),及水系密度(Drainage density)與坡度(Slope),並建立地貌與風化侵蝕之關係。本區地質條件對計量結果產生相當之影響。以地表泥岩裸露地範圍大小為依據,可大致瞭解此區於地形演化過程中之前後關係。本研究所計測之三項地形特徵,隨侵蝕之進行呈現先增加後減少,且趨於平緩之變化。依研究結果得知,木柵及中埔一帶階地堆積層覆蓋之區域,在目前仍為最穩定而適合開發之地區。本研究並提出泥岩坡面、穩定-不穩定狀態間之變換模式。對未來本地區之開發工作,可提供評估之參考。

A quantitative geomorphologic analysis for establishing a model of erosion cycle at the mud-stone foothills in Southeastern Taiwan was made in terms of hilltop plane, valley-bed plane, relief, drainage density, and slope. The results seem to be affected considerably by the formation characteristics of the area. The degree of bareness of the land surface can be the primary criteria for identifying the possible route of topographic evolution. It was found that the values of the three parameters that used in the study behave similarily, showing the trends of going up and down and then flating out with the erosion cycle. Mu-cha and Chung-pu areas which covered with terrace deposits exhibit the highest stability for land uses. Finally, a model for correlating the transformation between the stable and unstable state of the mud stone slopes has been established.
