台北縣石筍至平林之地球化學探勘

Geochemical Exploration of the Shihshun-Pinglin Area, Taipei Hsien

摘要


本次研究以河川重礦物、土壤汞及鏡煤素反光率方法探勘石筍、平林、及八分寮附近之金銅礦化作用。石筍地區主要之發現為舊一坑至三坑地區的金礦化作用、牡丹溪南方的金礦化作用及公墓地區的角礫岩筒。平林汞礦附近發現金粒及汞、砷、銅、鉛鋅之地化異常。八分寮附近有錳、汞、鋅及砷異常。依地化資料推測,平林及八分寮之礦化作用約在地下500公尺出現。

The potential of gold-copper mineralization in the Shihsun, Pinglin and Pafenliao areas was evaluated with the heavy minerals in the stream sediments, soil mercury, and vitrinite reflectance. In the Shihsun area, geochemical anomalies were found near the old exploratory adits, at a newly discovered breccia-pipe close to the old cemetery, and near the slope south of the Mutanchi creek. In the Pinglin area, gold particles and Hg, As, Cu, Pb, and Zn anomalies were found near the mercury prospect. In the Pafenliao area, Mn, Hg and Zn anomalies were found. Geochemical data indicate that the possible gold minerlization may occur 500 m below the surface at Pinglin and Pafenliao.
