低助熔劑燒結技術之建立與應用

Investigation of Low Fluxes in Iron Ore Sintering and Its Application

摘要


燒結礦是中鋼高爐最主要之含鐵原料(約佔70%)。製造燒結礦時,需在鐵礦砂中添加石灰石、蛇紋石及矽砂等助熔劑,用以提高鐵礦砂之燒結性質及調配高爐所需的爐渣成份。為了要降低煉鐵原料之成本,本研究模擬中鋼燒結工場之配料進行燒結鍋試驗,探討降低助熔劑用量之可行性,結果顯示:(1)當降低助熔劑用量使燒結礦之SiO_2含量下降(由5.6%降至4.5%)、鹽基度(CaO/SiO_2)略為上升、MgO含量略為下降時,對燒結性質負面之影響有限──除了對燒結礦之低溫還原粉化性(RDI)不利外,對其餘各項燒結性質(如燒結礦產率、轉桶強度、還原率、耗焦率及燒結礦粒度等)皆無明顯之影響。(2)調整MgO含量可做為改善燒結礦RDI或粒度之方法(3)在符合高爐規範(燒結礦RDI≦38%,高爐Slag之Al_2O_3含量≦15%)之情況下,推估中鋼#1、#2場燒結礦SiO_2下降之極限為4.9%,#3、#4場之極限為4.6%。中鋼燒結工場由1996年開始逐步減少助熔劑之用量,至2000年7月己將燒結礦之SiO_2由5.6%降至5.0-5.1%,高爐之爐渣量可下降約5%,每年效益為新台幣1億餘元。

In order to reduce the cost of iron making, decreasing the fluxes consumption in sinter was studied. The results of sinter pot tests showed: (1) Under the conditions of reducing SiO_2 content (from 5.6% to 4.5%), increasing basicity (CaO/ SiO_2) slightly and reducing MgO content slightly in sintering, the negative effect was limited. Except that RDI of the sinter worsened, the other sintering properties (including: productivity, TI, RI, coke consumption and sinter mean size) were not changed significantly. (2) Adjusting MgO content may improve RDI or the size of sinter. (3) According to the specification of blast furnace, RDI ≦ 38% and A_2O_3 in blast furnace slag ≦ 15%, it was estimate d that the lowest SiO_2 in CSC No.1 and No.2 sinter plants was 4.9%; No.3 and No.4 sinter plants, 4.6%. From 1996 to July 2000, SiO_2 content of sinter was reduced from 5.6% to 5.0 - 5.1% in CSC sinter plants. This reduced the cost of ironmaking as much as NT$190 million dollars per year. The effect on the sintering properties of sinter plant agreed closely with the results obtained from the laboratory tests in this period.
