摘要
鐵砧山儲氣窖擴建工程主要的功能包括：（1）增加北部供氣能力：擴建後的鐵砧山儲氣窖在北部尖峰用氣時，可生產天然氣加入管線北送的天然氣。（2）調節尖峰、離峰用氣：可顯著提高永安氣化廠及輸氣管線之設備使用率。（3）提供安全存量：如有異常狀況發生，平常注儲之天然氣可提供安全存量，確保北部地區之緊急供氣。

Hence the gas supplying capacity for northern Taiwan will be increased. (2)To adjust the peak/off-peak gas consumptions: The usages of the Yung-An LNG terminal and the pipelines will be increased noticeably. (3)To provide a safe amount of gas storage: In the case of unusual situations happened, the daily injected natural gas will provide a safe amount of storage that will ensure the emergent gas supply to northern Taiwan.
