150 spots of potential sediment disasters occurred in aboriginal tribes area. It have been paid attention by Aboriginal Committee since 1998, Twenty-one spots were selected among 150 potentially dangerous sites for this study, Environmental geological investigations and geomophological characteristics determinations were also required during the period of this research. All results can be displayed as different types of potential disasters induced by landslide, debris flow and soil mass movement all over the mountainous region habilitated by aboriginal people. Each class of environmental sensitive factors and environmental risk probability was calculated by means of Soil and Water conservation Technical Code announced in 2002. This research can be expected to offer a reference for the environmental risk analysis regarding to the disaster prevention program proposed by the Aboriginal Committee in Taiwan. This program can help aboriginal tribes escape from the potential environmental hazard in the future.
