以陶瓷射出成型(CIM)備製之牙科植體之表面處理研究

The Surface Modification of Zirconia Dental Implants Prepared by Ceramic Injection Molding (CIM)

摘要


牙科植體(dental implant)為目前治療牙缺損之主流,基於仿生(biomimetics)與美學(esthetic)概念的考量,選擇無金屬治療(metal-free treatment)之患者數增加,因此近年具象牙白色澤之氧化鋯牙科植體之發展備受重視,不僅美觀也兼具良好的機械性質與生物相容性,亦無金屬離子釋放之問題。因此本研究利用射出成型技術製備出氧化鋯陶瓷牙根,並探討不同反應溫度、時間、濃度之氫氟酸對氧化鋯瓷片表面之影響,樣品經由接觸角及掃描式電子顯微鏡分析其親疏水性和表面起伏程度及孔洞大小。實驗結果顯示當氧化鋯瓷片與酸蝕溶液反應24小時後,孔洞大小為2~6 μm,接觸角降低至10°。

Due to the biomimetic and esthetic concerns, zirconia based dental prosthesis has gained much attention for metal-free dental implantology. In this article, ceramic injection molding (CIM) was used to fabricate the zirconia dental implants that have superior mechanical properties as well as biocompatibility. Surface modification plays an important role in enhancing the implant-bone interface and its clinical performance. We used hydrofluoric acid (HF) based acid mixtures with different treatment time periods and temperatures for implant surface modification. The implants were analyzed by SEM and their contact angles were measured to determine the surface topology and wettability. After a 24-hr treatment period, the implants have pole size of 2~6 μm and contact angle around 10°.
