台灣東部蛇紋岩及雲母合成堇青石之研究

Synthesis of Cordierite from Serpentine and Mica of Eastern Taiwan

摘要


將提純之蛇紋岩與雲母粉混合,以固態反應法合成堇青石,進一步製備堇青石陶瓷體,並測試其熱膨脹性質。結果顯示,蛇紋岩與雲母粉混合,在1250℃以上可合成堇青石。所合成之堇青石粉壓製成型後,在1250℃燒結6小時, 可達到90%理論密度,熱膨脹係數為1.05x10^(-6)。

Eastern Taiwan serpentine and mica mixture was used to synthesize cordierite by solid state reaction. The ceramics were prepared from the synthesized powders. Results showed that cordierite can be synthesized from serpentine and mica mixtures at temperatures above 1250℃. The cordierite ceramics were sintered at 1250℃ for 6 hours. The density is 90% of the theoretical density and the thermal expansion coefficient is about 1.05x10^(-6).
