中鋼冷軋廠第一退火塗覆線輻射管加熱器節能裝置引進及應用

No.1 Annealing & Coating Line Using RTI to Save Energy and Reduce Carbon Emmision

摘要


中鋼冷軋廠第一退火塗覆線(No.1 Annealing & Coating Line,簡稱1ACL)生產高品級電磁鋼片,加熱爐係由107支輻射管燃燒器所組成,使用焦爐氣作為燃料,提供鋼帶退火以產出低鐵損之電磁鋼片。因應節能減碳趨勢,引進輻射管節能裝置(Radiant Tube Insert),先採單支測試方式確認節能潛力,之後再拓展至第一區(zone)使用,確認節能效益,後續將應用至第二、三區,做較完整之評估。輻射管節能裝置為碳化矽(SiC)材質,主要功用為增強輻射管廢氣段的對流與輻射熱傳效率,降低廢氣排放溫度,進而提升輻射管加熱效率。經實際測試顯示,在節能裝置單體測試中,使用節能裝置約可提升幅射管燃燒器效率4%;拓展到第一區應用並搭配燃燒系統調整後,生產每噸產品能源耗用可降低4~6%。測試結果顯示節能裝置確實可提升幅射管熱傳效率。

The No. 1 Annealing & Coating Line (1ACL) anneals high-grade electromagnetic steel sheet using 107 radiant tube burners and coke oven gas as fuel. To reduce energy consumption and carbon emission, we introduced energy-saving device such as Radiant Tube Insert (RTI). A single burner testing was performed to confirm the energy-saving potential, and then extended to the zonal test (zone1) to confirm energy efficiency improvements. The application of the RTI was extended to zone2 and zone3. The RTI is made of silicon carbide (SiC) material to enhance the convection and radiation heat transfer efficiency in the exhausting leg of the radiant tube and to reduce the exhaust emission temperature, thereby enhancing the radiant tube heating efficiency. Result of single burner test showed the use of RTI increased the efficiency of the radiant tube burner by 4%. Extending to the RTI application to the zone1 along with combustion system adjustments, the energy consumption per ton of products was reduced by 4 to 6%. Our results confirmed that RTI can enhance the radiator heat transfer efficiency.
