以水系膠鑄成形方法製作高強度透明氧化鋁陶瓷

Research of High-strength Transparent Alumina Ceramics Made by Water-based Gel Casting

摘要


本研究使用以水作為溶劑的膠鑄成形方法來製作氧化鋁生坯。將氧化鋁粉體混和在溶劑中,使用硝酸鎂作為粒徑抑制劑,EDTA作為螯合劑,加入單體與起始劑產生聚合形成高分子有機物作為黏結劑,在分散均勻的情況下成坯,成形後的生坯機械強度足夠,相對密度最高達到63%以上。在1500°C進行無壓、空氣氣氛下燒結後,樣品內部呈現均勻且緻密化的微結構,粒徑大小約為1.5 μm左右,相對密度為99.7%,硬度接近24GPa。

In this study, alumina green body was produced by water-based gel-casting. The alumina powder is mixed in a solvent, magnesium nitrate is used as a particle size inhibitor, and EDTA is used as a chelating agent. A monomer and an initiator are added to form a polymer as a binder. The green body formed by uniform dispersion has sufficient mechanical strength, density of 63%. After sintering at 1500 degree under air atmosphere, the sample has a uniform and dense microstructure inside. The particle size is about 2um, the relative density is 99.7%, and the hardness is close to 24GPa.
