不同採收季節與鮮花保存劑對玫瑰瓶插壽命之影響
Effect of Various Harvest Season and Floral Preservatives on Vase Life of Cut Roses
摘要
按臺灣現行外銷玫瑰採收運輸處理法，每月觀察三栽培玫瑰品種自批發商後之瓶插壽命。夏天插於自來水之Christian Dior與Super Star品種祇有2~3天瓶插壽命；冬天三品種有4~5天之插瓶壽命。全年平均瓶插壽命，Christian Dior, Super Stat及Queen Elizabeth 相對地爲3.7，3.0及4.0天。”Cornell”鮮花保存劑可使瓶插壽命延長爲6.3，5.9及6.1天。夏天保存劑效果較冬天爲大。

Various harvest season and ”Cornell” floral preservatives were studied to evaluate their effect on the vase life of three cultivars of roses cv. Christian Dior, Super Star and Queen Elizabeth after simulating the export condition. Summer cut roses had 2 to 3 days of vase life, while winter and spring cut roses had 4 to 5 days vase life. The average of vase life harvested from May 1975 through April 1976 of three cultivars, cv. Christian Dior, Super Star and Queen Elizabeth were 3.7, 3.0 and 4.0 days respectively, whereas, the average of vase life in ”Cornell” floral preservative solution were 6.3, 5.9 and 6.1 days respectively. The ”Cornell” preservative solution had been shown bettor results in summer than in winter harvest season.
