葱與洋葱雜交種子之發育

Seed Development in Crossing between Bunching Onion (Allium fistulosum L.) and Onion (A. cepa L.)

摘要


葱與洋葱雜交,部份蒴果發育正常,部份於授後8~12天開始萎縮。未正常發育蒴果種子內之胚細胞及胚乳細胞,僅有少數分裂現象。雜交發育正常種子之胚細胞及胚乳細胞分裂速度及分裂細胞數目均不如自交者。葱及洋葱正反雜交其受精率不同。葱×洋葱所得雜交發育12天種子可以胚培養成功獲得種間雜種。

Fruits in crossing between hunching onion and onion could develop normally or ceased its development at 8 to 12 days after pollination. There are fewer embryo and endosperm cells in ceased developed fruit than normal. Rate of cell division and number of embryo and endosperm cells in normal development of crossed seed were slower in comparison with those in selfed seed. The percentage fertilization of reciprocal crossings between bunching onion and onion was different. The hybrid embryo of bunching onion crossed to onion could develop into plant by embryo culture when embryo was over 12 days older.
