介質對馬鈴薯瓶苗扦插及種薯生産之影響

The Effect of Growing Media on Rooting of Microcutting and Yield of Seed Potato

摘要


克難種馬鈴薯組織培養瓶苗使用真珠石,蛭石和泥炭土三種材料單獨或混合作扦插介質,其成活率均高。在只含真珠石與蛭石各半的介質中成活率最差,但亦達八成以上。扦插成活苗在泥炭土中之初期生長最好。將之定植於含不同比例混合介質之塑膠盆中進行基本種薯生産時,薯數與産量會因介質配方不同而有顯著差異。薯的産量與栽培介質中泥炭土的含量呈正相關。植株種植於含泥炭土比例愈高的介質中,所得薯的總重量愈高。真珠石、蛭石、泥炭土等體積混合的介質對植株結薯數目及産量皆有良好表現。尤其結薯數目爲全部處理之冠,每株平圴生産4.5個小薯,每粒小薯重約4公克,適合作進一步種薯繁殖之用。

Microcuttings of Kennebec potato from in vitro cultures when rooted in growing media containing different percentage of perlite, vermiculite and peat had very high rate of survival. The lowest survival rate was still over 80% in a medium with equal amount of perlite and vermiculite. Peat alone supported the best early growth for rooted microcuttings. The cultivation of rooted microcuttings in media with varied components revealed that the variation of each component affected significantly the growth of plants which gave rise to different yield and number of tubers. The higher yield of tubers was obtained in media containing higher percentage of peat. However, microcuttings grown in the medium containing equal part of perlite, vermiculite and peat produced the highest number of tubers, counting up to averagely 4.5 per plant. Each tuber weighed about 4 grams. These small tubers were very suitable for further multiplication of seed potato.
