摘要


經由7℃低溫處理可有效打破扦插繁殖之一年生桃Premier品種花芽之休眠,促進其開花。盆栽之桃樹經10、20及30天的低溫處理,於移出冷房後其所需達50%開花率之天數分別爲88、29及26天,因此認定桃Premier品種之低溫需求時數爲介於10天到20天之間,屬於低溫需求較低品種。本試驗結果提供桃Premier品種於低海拔地區以容器高密度栽培之選擇,而人爲提供低溫處理之經濟攷慮,則尚有待進一步開發。

Floral bud break of 1-year-old rooted cuttings of 'Premier' peach was observed following chilling treatment at 7℃. The peaches grown in woven bag received 10, 20 and 30 days chilling treatment, their days from end of treatment to 50% floral bud break were 88, 29 and 26 days respectively. The optimum chilling requirement of 'Premier' peach was estimated to be between 10 and 20 days; belonging to the low chilling requirement cultivars. This results showed that container grown 'Premier' at low altitude as a mean for high density planting is feasible. The economic consideration for other means of chilling treatment needs further study.
