台灣中部主要河川水質之鹽化狀況及其灌溉適用性評估

The Salinization and Irrigated Suitability of Major Central Taiwan Rivers

摘要


本研究利用行政院環境保護署公告1976~2000年的河川水質數據,針對中部之後龍溪、大安溪、大甲溪、烏溪、濁水溪與北港溪等六條主要河川的電導度、氯鹽濃度配合水利處之河川流量及雨量資料,探討各河川水質之體化狀況以及評估其灌溉適用性。結果顯示,以中部各河川鹽化而言,北港溪為鹽化污染範團最廣之河川,烏溪下游則為鹽化最嚴重的地區。大安溪和後龍溪沿海地區測站在近幾年來有迅速鹽化且超過灌溉水質的現象發生;大甲溪和濁水溪的水質各項評估皆在灌溉水質的標準內,為中部地區水質最佳河川。一般而言,豐水期的夏季為水質最好的季節,而水質最差的季節大多發生於枯水後期的春季。

The water quality and river flow data released by Environmental Protection Administration and Water Conservancy Agency, respectively, from 1976 to 2000, are analyzed for the evaluation of the salinization and irrigating suitability for six major rivers (Holung Chi, Taan Chi, Tachia Chi, Wu Chi, Choshui Chi, and Peikang Chi) in the central Taiwan. Results show that, in term of salinization, Peikang Chi suffers the most wide extent and Wu Chi displays the worst water quality for its river-mouth stretch. Stations close to the coast of Holung Chi and Taan Chi also exhibit a rapid rising trend of salinization and exceed the upper limit for irrigation criteria in recent years Among six major rivers, only Tachia Chi and Choshui Chi retain the suitability for the purpose of irrigation. In short, better water qualities for these six rivers are associated with high water flow stages of summer seasons and the poorest periods are found in the low flow stages of late spring seasons.
