We have fabricated the step edge Josephson junctions by the standard optical photolithography technique and wet etching. The substrates were MgO(001). The step height varied from 150 to 600 nm and the width was 20 - 50 μm wide. The frequencies of the microwave irradiation varied from 8 to 18 GHz. Shapiro steps are observed and the value of the voltage step occurs at Vn = nhf/2e, where f is the frequency of the microwave, n = integers and e is the electronic charge. The critical current density shows a temperature dependence of Ic = (1 - T/Tc)^n = with n = 1.4 - 1.5. The results will be discussed.
