含液化木材水性聚胺基甲酸酯/水性環氧樹脂製作摻合樹脂之性質

PROPERTIES OF BLENDED RESINS PREPARED BY MIXING LIQUEFIED WOOD-CONTAINING WATERBORNE POLYURETHANE AND WATERBORNE EPOXY RESIN

本研究將柳杉(Cryptomeria japonica D. Don.)木材以聚乙二醇/丙三醇為溶劑進行液化處理,水性聚胺基甲酸酯樹脂(Waterborne polyurethane resin, WPU)合成時以OH基莫耳比1/1之液化木材(Liquefied wood, LW)/聚四甲基醚二醇混合物為多元醇原料,異弗爾酮二異氰酸酯(Isophorone diisocyanate)為異氰酸酯原料,乙二胺為鏈延長劑,隨後將含LW之WPU樹脂(LWPU)與市售水性環氧樹脂(Epoxy resin, ER)以重量比100/0、100/10、100/20、100/30、100/40混合製備LWPU/ER摻合樹脂,探討LWPU/ER的重量比對所製作摻合樹脂性質之影響。由試驗結果得知,多元醇液化木材可應用於LWPU樹脂合成。LWPU/ER摻合樹脂中隨著ER樹脂添加比例提高,浸水試驗的膨潤係數降低,重量保留率增加,拉伸試驗的拉伸強度及模數提高,DSC及DMA試驗的熱活動性降低。TGA試驗的熱抵抗能力提高。而破壞伸長量及破壞能量則分別以ER樹脂添加量10%及20%之LWPU/ER摻合樹脂較佳。

In this study, the wood of Cryptomeria japonica D. Don was liquefied with the mixture of polyethylene glycol/glycerol as a solvent. Waterborne polyurethane resin (WPU) was prepared by using liquefied wood (LW)/polytetramethylene ether glycol mixture that had the OH group molar ratio of 1/1, isophorone diisocyanate and ethylenediamine as the raw material of polyol, isocyanate and chain extender, respectively. Subsequently, liquefied wood-containing WPU resin (LWPU) was mixed with commercially waterborne epoxy resin (ER) at a weight ratio of 100/0, 100/10, 100/20, 100/30 and 100/40 to prepare LWPU/ER blended resins. The effect of the weight ratio of LWPU/ER on the properties of blended resin was investigated. The results showed that polyhydric alcohol liquefied wood could be used to prepare LWPU. With the proportion of ER resin increased, the swelling coefficient decreased and the weight retention increased for LWPU/ER blend resins after water immersion test. The tensile strength and modulus increased during a tensile test, the thermal activity reduced at DSC and DMA analysis, and the thermal stability improved obtained from TGA analysis. The LWPU/ER blended resin with 10% and 20% ER resin had the maximum elongation and energy at the break, respectively.
