本研究根據競爭優勢相關理論,挑選出關於生產、運銷、市場、總體環境等因素構面,探討蝴蝶蘭產業的發展因素與策略。在SWOT分析之研究結果,顯示蝴蝶蘭產業之優勢為育種技術良好、地理環境與氣候優越、產品品質穩定等等;劣勢為經營規模仍嫌小,無法單獨接受大量訂單、串聯供貨品質不一致,易有商業貿易糾紛等等;機會為歐美市場需求快速提升中、國內年節需求量大等等;威脅為中國大陸蝴蝶蘭栽培面積快速發展、病毒植株常導致商議貿易糾紛等等。AHP分析之研究結果,專家認為四大面向以生產面相對最重要;另第二層面因素最重要的前五項因素為自然條件、法令、技術與知識資源、成本及產值及行銷組織。在中長期發展策略方面,宜加強品種改良與分子生物技術育種,建構國內外市場資訊分析中心、建立蘭花品系與產銷履歷制度,以爭取國際市場長期競爭優勢。
Based on industrial development theories, we developed composite competitiveness indicators that are related to production, marketing, and market and macro-environment management in order to evaluate the Butterfly Orchid industry. The results in SWOT analysis show that the advantages of the Butterfly Orchid industry are good geographical environment and climate, stable quality of products, etc. The weaknesses of this industry are that farms are too small to individually accept large scale orders, the product quality provided by the supporting farms is inconsistent, making it easy to induce commercial trade disputes, and so on. The opportunities are that American and European market demands are growing significantly, domestic demands are great during the Spring Festival holidays, and so forth. The threats are that planted areas for the Butterfly Orchid in Mainland China are developing quickly, plants with viruses often result in trade disputes, etc. The results of AHP analysis indicate that development of the Butterfly Orchid industry must pay attention to the natural production environment as a first priority. The most important five factors of the second hierarchy are natural conditions, degree, technology and knowledge resource, cost and output value, and marketing organization. Regarding medium and long-term development strategies of the Butterfly Orchid industry, we suggest reinforcing breed improvement, highlighting molecular biology technology, constructing a domestic and foreign market information center, and setting up a traceability system for orchid strains in order to strive for the long-term competitive advantages in the international market.
