飼糧中以不同比例甘藷取代玉米對雜交肉豬生長性能及屠體性狀之影響

The Effect of Graded Levels of Sweet Potato to Substitute the Corn in Diets on Growth Performance and Carcass Characteristics of Crossbred Pigs

本研究使用平均體重約45 kg之LD雜交肉豬40頭,依體重逢機分為四組,每組十頭,分別以四種飼糧餵飼,第一組為對照組,係供餵玉米及大豆粕為主之飼料原料所調配之飼糧,第二至三組分別以台農六十六號甘藷取代對照組玉米用量之20%及40%,另於第三組飼糧中添加0.1%之離胺酸作為第四組飼糧。飼糧採任食,飲水充分供應,餵飼至體重約達120 kg時,結束試驗,測定豬之每日增重及飼料轉換率等生長性能,同時每組選取體重相近之豬隻六頭,經屠宰後測定屠體性狀、屠肉成分、豬肉色澤及進行豬肉品評。試驗結果顯示,隨著飼糧中以甘藷取代飼料中之玉米用量增加,豬每日飼料攝食量、每日增重及瘦肉肉色逐漸減少,以甘藷取代飼料中之玉米用量20%處理組,豬隻於生長期飼料轉換率較高,背脂厚度較薄,而肉豬以甘藷取代飼糧中玉米用量40%另添加0.1%離胺酸者,豬肉粗蛋白質含量及脂肪含量分別有減低及增加趨勢,且其屠肉瘦肉率顯著地(P < 0.05)低於其餘各組。飼糧中以甘藷取代玉米餵飼生長肥育雜交肉豬,其取代量係以重量取代20%玉米為宜。

A total of 40 LD (Landrace×Duroc-Jersey) crossbred pigs, average body weight 45 kg, were used as experimental animals. Pigs were allocated into 4 treatments by body weight (BW) and fed with four diets, i.e. Control, graded levels substitution of corn in control diet by sweet potato, 20%, 40% and 40% added lysine (SP 20, SP40, SP40 + Lys). Feed and water were provided on an ad libitum basis. When BW of the pigs reached approximately 120 kg, all pigs were weighed. 6 pigs from each treatment were slaughtered and the carcass characteristics were measured. Growth performance, carcass characteristics, meat chemical composition and panel test of loin meat were evaluated. The results showed that the average feed intake and daily gain of pigs decreased with the increase of the levels of substitution of corn in diets with sweet potato. Pigs provided with SP20 diet had higher feed conversion rate during growing period and had lower backfat thickness. There was a trend for lower crude protein and higher fat percentage in meat from pigs fed SP40 + Lys. The lean percentage of pigs in SP40 + Lys was significantly (P < 0.05) lower than that in the other groups. The color score of loin meat decreased when the substitution levels of corn by sweet potato were increased. In conclusion, the substitution of corn by sweet potato in diet for growing-finishing crossbred pigs to 20% is recommended.
