With the advancement of computer technology and information processing, information ethic is an issue more than law business; it needs moral philosophy to provide a guideline for the users. Since what happens to Napster's copyright issue is far beyond the law business, moral philosophy is also needed to the users. The purpose of this paper is to explore information ethics from the moral philosophy's point of view, and its impact on traditional moral philosophy of copyright infringement, freedom to speech, and misuse.
