摘要

隨著部落格的興起，如何將部落格導入公共圖書館，成為許多公共圖書館館員共同的疑問。本文旨在說明部落格的定義、特質，部落格可能為圖書館帶來的效益，以及建置部落格的方式，並介紹國外公共圖書館應用部落格的實例，最後試圖對公共圖書館提出建置部落格的建議。

With the popularity of blogs, many librarians in public libraries wonder what blogs can do for public libraries. This article describes the definition and characteristics of blogs, what possible benefits blogs can bring for libraries, and the approaches to creating a blog. Some ideas and examples of how to incorporate a blog into the Web site of a public library are introduced as well. At last, this article gives some suggestions for public libraries about designing a library blog.
