公共圖書館與知識產業的發展關係研究

A Study of Relationship between Public Library and Knowledge Industry

摘要

知識產業的發展，對知識的依賴日增，雖然提升了人類生活與文化，卻也引發知識自由與文化管理的相關議題。公共圖書館一直扮演著傳承人類知識與文化的角色，並有著維持公共知識平等流通的社會功能，在面對因為知識產業發展所引發的知識商品與知識自由化之爭，及知識管理需面對特色化與深化的問題時，本文提出公共圖書館是化解知識市場化、商品化與知識自由之爭的角色之ㄧ；同時，認為公共圖書館深入人民生活的網狀結構，將可使它有機會成為知識產業的隱形推手。

The development of knowledge industry heavily depends on substance of knowledge; it improved the human living and culture. It also inspired issues on the freedom of knowledge and culture management. Public libraries play essential roles of transforming human knowledge and culture. It also retains social functions of equal circulation of common knowledge. However, at current status, facing the debate of knowledge commodities and knowledge freedom, so as knowledge specialized and knowledge-deepened issues, this paper submit the idea that public library is one of solutions for the debate; at the meantime, public library will become an invisible push-hands for closely insert into people's life networks.
