智慧型公共圖書館之發展與建築特色

摘要

資訊科技轉變人類搜尋知識的方式，促使圖書館重新定位並尋求新的服務模式。公共圖書館如何發展以資訊科技為本之「智慧型」圖書館，達成圖書館服務使命，是值得探討之課題。本文由數位建築與資訊科技之互動發展，針對書籍可及性、主題館藏、小眾社群、資訊容器、資源整合、館員專家化與自動化流程等理念，分別探索「智慧型」公共圖書館之可能發展與使用模式，並說明在「互動」、「彈性」、「精緻」三個主要建築特色下發展智慧型圖書館建築之新型態。

Information Technology (IT) change the way that the mankind searches knowledge, impel the libraries to redirect their service. How the public library being transformed into the ”intelligent library” to reach their serving mission is a worthy subject. The interactive development of the Digital Architecture and Information Technology, and some concepts as accessibility of books, theme-categorized collections, small communities, information container, resources integration, expertise librarians, automation procedures, are explored for the development and modeling of the Intelligent Public Library. The new space-type of Intelligent Public Library may be developed under the characteristics as ”Interactive”, ”Flexibility”, and ”Exquisite” is explained.
