Gastric adenomyoma is a rare lesion composed of smooth muscle and epithelial components. It is part of a spectrum of changes in the gastric wall including ducts lined by tall columnar epithelium, bundles of smooth muscle, Brunner's gland and occasionally nests of pancreatic tissue. In 1977, Lasser et al reviewed English Iiteratures, and found out that only 33 cases had been reported. Here we reported our first Case. She is a 33-year-old married female presenting intermittent epigastric pain for 10 days. Submucosal tumor over prepyloric region was noted from gastroscopy and UGI X-ray studies. She received vagotomy, antrectomy and gastrojejunostomy thereafter. PathologicaI diagnosis was adenomyoma of gastric antrum. The postoperative course was uneventful.
