航空動暈症易感性之鑑定

摘要


航空動暈症對於學習駕駛飛機的飛行員常是一大困擾。它所產生的噁心、嘔吐、冒冷汗、全身倦怠、頭痛、頭暈等動暈症狀,有時會嚴重的持續影響學習飛行的過程,使得飛行訓練必須被迫中止。而職業上必須經常飛行的空服員,有時也會因航空動暈症造成的不適而無法服勤。本研究的目的即是在地面上使用客觀方法評估航空動暈症的易感性,以確定其航空動暈症嚴重之程度。利用地面旋轉椅模擬柯氏前庭刺激誘發動暈症狀,同時記錄皮膚電反應、皮膚溫度、和胃電圖等生理反應,據以客觀評估用以顯示動暈症易感性程度之「動暈症柯氏指數」。共有3名民航機空服員和2名戰鬥機飛行員因航空動暈症困擾接受「動暈症柯氏指數」之評估,結果平均值為5.48,介於易發生動暈症之第10至第20百分位之間。對於需要經常飛行又飽受航空動暈症困擾的空勤組員,可在地面上使用「動暈症柯氏指數」之評估方法,相當準確地客觀鑑定其航空動暈症的易感性。

Airsickness is sometimes distressing to aircrews. The symptoms can impair the aircrews' flight capacity. Without adequate evaluation, the intractable airsickness symptoms will keep bothering the aircrews. The purpose of this study was to use a practical airsickness evaluation method to objectively assess the susceptibility of aircrews so that the problem of airsickness can be confirmed and then may be corrected accordingly. Coriolis stimulation was induced to simulate airsickness effect by subjects sitting on a rotational chair. The Coriolis Sickness Susceptibility Index (CSSI) determined by chair rotation speed and the number of head movements was used to indicate the susceptibility of airsickness. Two fighter pilots and three flight attendants, which suffered from intractable airsickness, received the airsickness susceptibility evaluation. The average CSSI of these 5 subjects was 5.48, which located between the 10th to 20th percentile of sensitivity to motion sickness. It was concluded that the susceptibility of airsickness could be objectively tested and indicated by the CSSI.
