砂心吹製L型幾何外形模穴的研究

摘要


在重力式砂模鑄造過程中砂心的品質好壞會直接影響鑄件成品的幾何外形的完整性。在吹製過程中會因為L型彎角容易造成吹製結束後,仍然有未吹製完成的位置。所以在L型彎角位置(或垂直通道)的流動角度在吹製過程中就顯得重要。理由是因為在砂心吹製過程中直角和L型彎角的位置常常是砂心吹製中的缺陷的位置。而本實驗正是藉由探討砂心吹製L型通道或垂直通道時,要如何設計此通道的幾何外形尺寸,來達到避免砂心吹製過程中,因垂直彎角的位置所產生的缺陷(例如:直角或彎角未填滿的位置)。利用數值模擬的方式建立不同的實驗參數,如入口壓力、入口大小及粒徑大小。並對模擬結果進行討論與分析,得到建議的優化L型幾何形狀。

In castings, the quality of the sand core has a great influence on the casting geometry. In the sand core blowing process the L shaped geometry (or runner) is the place where the defects of sand core exits. At this right angle of runner geometry, sand is not easily accumulated and the unfilled cavity is remained after finishing blowing process. It is therefore very important that to know why the cause of defects in these regions. In this study L shaped geometry is designed. Various experimental parameters such as blowing pressure, inlet opening and sand particle size were constructed in numerical model. Modeling results were discussed and analyzed. The optimized L-shaped geometry was suggested.
