摘要

股四頭肌肌腱斷裂為一罕見之傷害，治療以早期縫合最佳。過去認為延遲性縫合效果較差，近年來，則有延遲性縫合後追蹤成效良好之報告。本文描述一延遲六個月之病例，經三年追蹤成效尚佳。

Quadriceps tendon rupture is not a common injury in daily orthopedic practice. Early recognition with early surgical repair gives a better clinical outcome. Though the outcome after delayed diagnosis and repair is considered unsatisfactory in most of the literature; there are some acceptable follow-up results reported after delayed repair of the ruptured quadriceps tendon. We described a patient whose diagnosis was not made until 6 months after the quadriceps tendon was torn. Primary end-to-end repair was accomplished and the 3-year follow-up result was acceptable.
