Heterotopic Ossification in a Midline Abdominal Wound: Report of a Case
正中腹部傷口的異位性骨化：病例報告
摘要
我們報告一名48歲男性在正中腹部傷口的異位性骨化的病例，並回顧其文獻以增進該罕見現象的診斷及治療。該病患呈現上腹部不適和腹部中央的腫塊等症狀，他曾經有剖腹探查手術的病史，電腦斷層檢查顯示該腫塊的密度和骨頭相似，我們把腫塊切除，病理報告顯示該腫塊含有成熟的退化性軟骨和骨小梁，該名病患的臨床症狀在腫塊切除後完全消失。

We report a case of heterotopic ossification in an abdominal scar in a 48-year-old man. The patient presented with epigastric discomfort and a palpable mass in the mid-abdominal region. He had previously undergone an exploratory laparotomy. Computed tomography examination suggested the presence of a calcified mass with a density similar to that of bone. We resected the tumor. Histology confirmed the presence of mature degenerative cartilage and bony trabeculae. His clinical symptoms improved after resection. We report this rare entity and review the literature to enhance the diagnosis and treatment for this rare phenomenon.
