Ossifying Fibroma of the Tibia - A Case Report and Review of the Literature
脛骨骨化性纖維瘤—病例報告
摘要
位於長骨上的骨化性纖維瘤 ( Ossiying Fibroma )是一種罕見的纖維骨性病變。它主要侵犯脛骨而且多在10歲以前發生。在組識學上，病變上的骨小樑圍繞著許多骨母細胞，在臨床上，如果患者在骨髂未成熟就予以一般手術治療 ( 刮除及骨移植 )，極易再發，榮總台中分院於73年4月診治~此種病例 ; 由於此種腫瘤與纖維性發育不良 ( Fibrous Dysplasia )極易混淆 ; 特參考文獻，提出報告。

Ossifying fibroma of long bones is a rare disease. It is one of the fibroosseous lesions that offects the tibia and fibula in the first decade of life. Basically it is similar to the monostotic fibrous dysplasia of long bones. But its aggressive clinical course and distinctive hisologic features mark it as a separate clinical problem. One case has been found recently in VGH-Taichung. We harein report this case and review the literature on the pathogenesis, clinical course and treatment.
