Treatment of Acute Suppurative Arthritis in Infancy and Childhood Affecting the Knee – Evaluation of the Value of Needle Aspiration and Irrigation with Cases Presentation
嬰幼兒急性膝關節化膿性關節炎之治療—評估針抽取及沖洗之價值及病歷報告
摘要
急性細菌性關節炎若無適當治療常造成關節僵硬及變形，甚至死亡。早期診斷及治療是治療成功的要件。 嬰幼兒之急性膝關節化膿性關節炎，其治療原則至目前尚有爭論。本院採取針抽取及沖洗，合併適當抗生素，成功的治療了三例病患，僅提出報告。其次亦評估核子掃描在這診斷方面之功能。

Needle aspiration and joint washing have been evaluated as the initial mode of treatment in 3 cases of acute pyogenic arthritis affecting the knee joint during infancy and childhood. Of these patients, all had a good result. From our experience, this simple technique, with the combination of systemic antibiotics, offers promise in treating acute pyogenic arthritis.
