An one day old baby delivered by normal spontaneous delivery, was found to have abnormal mobility on plalpation in the middle third of the right clavicle during a routine neonatal physical examination. A portable chest X-ray was performed and revealed disturbed continuity of the right clavicle at the middle protion without evidence of fracture line on both end. Congenital pseudoarthrosis of the clavicle was diagnosed and no definitive treatment was done at the moment, although surgical repair of the defect such as plating or intramedullary fixation with bone grafting is indicated when the child reach school age.
