Tuberculous spondylitis (Pott's disease) is prevalent globally in many underdeveloped countries, but is increasing in both developed and developing countries in parallel with growing numbers of immunocompromised patients. The treatment options involve chemotherapy or chemotherapy with surgery. There is no standard surgical method; the options include anterior debridement with spinal fusion, anterior spinal fusion with posterior spinal fusion, and posterior spinal fusion followed by anterior spinal fusion. Herein we described a case of Pott's disease who was treated successfully with singlestage radical debridement by posterolateral extrapleural approach, anterior fusion with titanium mesh cage (TMC), and posterior pedicle screw fixation.
