台灣觀光休閒餐旅相關學術著作表現之研究

An Analysis of Research Performance for Tourism, Leisure and Hospitality Related Academic Institutions in Taiwan

摘要

本研究目的在探討國內觀光休閒相關系所，於2001至2005年間發表於國內外觀光休閒期刊上之著作表現。首先將國內外觀光休閒相關期刊界定爲SSCI期刊、國際核心期刊、國內重要期刊、其他國際期刊與其他國內期刊等五類進行研究，並逐一搜尋各期刊網站與相關資料庫，再針對國內各觀光休閒相關學術單位發放問卷信函蒐集各系所資料；並輔以國科會研究人才資料庫及各系網站，交叉比對確認資料之正確性與完整性。研究結果發現，國內學者在觀光休閒期刊上的發表有陸續成長的趨勢，顯示台灣觀光休閒領域學術之國際能見度與學術表現已日受重視，而著作表現則有集中於部分系所或學者的現象。此外，觀光休閒期刊中，跨領域投稿的現象普遍，尤其以發表於食品、管理、都市計畫、建築環境領域者爲多。建議未來觀光休閒領域學者，可以採跨領域合作的方式，增加議題的廣度，且在投稿的目標上，應建立以有嚴格審查制度之期刊爲發表方向。此外，各系所應聘任合適專長的師資，以利往後的發展。

The purpose of this study is to identify the academic performances of Taiwanese academic institutes during 2001-2005 on tourism and leisure related journals. Categories of selected journals include: international SSCI journals, international tourism and leisure concentrated journals, domestic important journals, other international journals, and other domestic journals. Data were collected by searching websites and academic database, as well as questionnaires. The results show that Taiwanese scholars have made better contributions to tourism and leisure related journals. However, those contributions are concentrated in certain institutes or scholars. Moreover, cross-disciplinary articles are very common. It is suggested that future researches on tourism and leisure could be continued by cross-disciplinary cooperation to broaden the scope of studies. Journals with conscientious review should be selected as contributed objects. Furthermore, scholars with adequate emphasis of research should be recruited by tourism and leisure related departments to achieve better prospective.
