Lipids in Maintenance Dialysis - Hemodialysis vs peritoneal Dialysis

血液透析與腹膜透析血脂肪之比較

並列摘要

Purpose: cardiovascular disease is the major cause of uremia death. Hyperlipidemia is usually noted in uremia and it is one of the risk factor. We compare the lipid profile in both mode HD, CAPD, to define which is more lipogenic? Method: (1) The patient received dialysis either HD or PD over 6 ms in CCH. (2) Continued the medication of Hypertension, vitamine, Ca supplement, Phosphate binder. (3) Withdraw the antilipid agents for 1 m. (4) Fasted over 8 hours before blood drawn. (5) Compared the blood sugar, Albumin level and lipid profile, CV risk factors. Result: The albumine levels and hematocrit were normal in both PD, HD groups. DM were 23.2%, 20.6% in HD, PD. P>0.05, with no significant different. Although age, were older in HD group; CT ratio were 50.5±6.4, 55.6±7.9, P:0.000 in PD, HD. The lipid profileswere obviously higher in PD with hypercholesterol (>200mg/dl) 49.5%, 18.0% in PD, HD, P value: 0.000; LDL>120 mg/dl: 18.6%, 11% in PD, HD, P<0.001, Lp(a)>30 :28.4%, 16.5% P:0.018; in PD, HD. The CVD were 22.7% to 33.7% in PD, HD group, with significant, one the contrary. We thout the age difference and tight control of Volume status were the major reason for that with worse lipid profile, PD having the lower incidence of CVD.
