This study pro two texts in The Shanghai Museum Bamboo Strips of Warring States Period, Vo1. 5: ”The Submission by Jing Jian” (Jing Jian nei zhi 競建內之) and ”The Admonishment of Bao Shuya and Xi Peng” (Bao Shuya yu Xi Peng zhi jian鮑叔牙與隰朋之諫). On the basis of their contents and opinions previously presented by scholars, the study merges and re-arranges the two texts, reconstructing the missing phrases ri you shi zhi 日有食之and bang yu qi邦與其. The study also comments on the following phrases and words: Qi yan yue he其言曰何, Shuo說, Yu於, Yi鈛, Qian zhao前召, Xian jun ge wang先君格王, Nie孽, Zhi質, Xun徇, Yi ji繹祭, Fa gu sui, xing gu ji發古稅行古籍, Jue覺, Ren zhi fu zheng er shi ren人之父蒸而食人, Ku qi xing酷其刑, Ji fu wu bu 祭服毋布, Mu mo duan, tian mo chang, bai liang zhong畝纆短, 田纆長, 百糧鍾, Fu復, Miemeng蠛蠓, Gong kun公昆. Comparing excavated and received texts, this study c1arifies several problems that have been contro versial in the history of scholarship.
