“基本認知功能評量表”之信度與效度研究(II)

Reliability and Validity of the Basic Cognitive Function Scale for the Mentally Illed: Part Two

摘要

The disabilities associated with mental illness, which can be separated into the Allen's six cogitive levels, can be reflected in routine task behaviors also by using task analysis, Allen describes various functional disabilities in the severity of disorder. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the interrater reliability and the criterion-related validity of the Basic Cognitive Function Scale (the BCFS). To determine the interrater reliability, fifteen patients were tested simultaneously by two occupational therapists and the result showed good reliability (r=0.98, p<0.0l). To determine the criterion-related validity, thirty patients were tested with the BCFS, the ACL test, and the COTES by another occupational therapist, and the correlation ratio ranged from 0.46 to 0.78 (p<0.0l). The results showed good validity. Therefore the BCFS was recommended not only for evaluating the basic cognitive function on the mental illness, but applying Allen's cognitive disability frame of reference to clinical pratice.
