Electromyographic Biofeedback for Post-Stroke Patients with Spasticity or Paralysis

摘要


此篇報告首先敘述肌電圖生物迴饋對肌肉痙孿之放鬆或肌肉麻痺之刺激的治療過程,並說明使用機器時所需考慮的事項及臨床運用上應注意之事宜,例如病人的評估,問題的鑑定和治療的應用等。若干學者曾藉向封閉迴路運動學習理論和神經生理模式來解釋為何肌電圖生物迥饋在運動學習過程中有所助益;本文亦就此理論層面加以討論。最後再針對療效研究的文獻作一番回顧;這些文獻涉及肌電圖生物迴饋對正常人或中風病人在肌肉收縮或肌肉功能恢復的訓練成效。本文也分析了這些研究論文的實驗設計及研究方法。

The procedures of electromyographic biofeedback (EMG BF) for the relaxation of spasticity and facilitation of weakness were described in this paper. Technical considerations and clinical procedures such as patient assessment, problem identification and therapeutic application were also described. The closed-loop motor learning theory and a possible neurophysiological model advanced to explain how EMG BF may assist in the motor learning process were discussed. Finally, the paper reviewed the relevant literature investigating the effectiveness of EMG BF on voluntary muscle contraction and muscular function in normals and stroke patients. Special attention was directed toward the methodological aspects of these studies.
