Introduction of Standards for Neurological Classification of Spinal Cord Injury Patients
摘要
簡介由美國脊髓損傷學會建議使用的脊髓損傷患者神經學分類標準。該標準係使用「損傷區」的觀念，以明確區分不完全損傷和完全損傷。利用關鍵肌的肌力指標分數提供正確的定量方法來記錄運動功能變化，此在臨床醫療人員溝通上，可產生共識，並作為患者神經功能分類之依據。

Standards for neurological classification of spinal cord injury patients suggested by American Spinal Injury Association (1983) provides adequate communication between clinicians and researchers working with spinal cord injury patients. Concepts of zone of injury distinguishes easily between incomplete and complete lesion. Motor index score for key muscles accurately gives a numerical grading system to document improvement or deterioration of motor function.
