Reliability of Fine Wire Electromyography in Trapezius Muscle

斜方肌肌電圖測量之可信度研究

摘要


我們對十位健康自願受試者進行斜方肌肌電圖測量之可信度研究,利用細絲針極肌電圖偵測深層斜方肌肌肉活動度。細絲針極插於和肩胛骨下緣平行之斜方肌上,受試者做二次標準動作下斜方肌最大等長收縮,標準動作是受試者臥姿下肩關節外展150度,在二次臥姿標準動作之問,受試者於坐姿下做十二次肩關節活動,我們收集二次標準動作下之肌電圖數據做為可信度研究。三位受試者之數據,由於訊號太弱或沒有測到而不記錄,所以我們平均其餘七位受試者之肌電圖數據,決定細絲針極肌電圖可信度。結果發現細絲針極肌電圖可信度是相當高,其數值是0.87,不同於其它研究發現肌電圖低可信度。我們認為細絲針極肌電圖是偵測深層斜方肌肌肉活動度好方法。

The test re-test reliability for fine wire Electromyography (EMG) in the lower trapezius muscle during Maximal Voluntary Isometric Contractions (MVIC's) was studied in ten healthy volunteers. Intramuscular wire electrodes were inserted in the lower trapezius muscle at the level of the inferior angle of scapula. The subjects performed 2 MVIC's at standard position (horizontal abduction with shoulder abducted to 150° in frontal plane with externally rotated at prone position). Twelve shoulder movements at sitting position were also performed between 2 MVIC's at standard position. The 2 MVIC's data were used for analysis. The data from 3 subjects were discarded due to a drastic decrease or loss of the EMG signal during testing. The test re-test reliability was calculated based on the data from the remaining 7 subjects. The Intraclass Correlation Coefficient (ICC (3, 1)) for test re-test reliability for the fine wire EMG in the lower trapezius muscle was. 87. It was concluded that test re-test reliability for fine wire EMG analysis was obtained at standard position before and after 12 shoulder movements at sitting position. Fine wire EMG sample EMG data from a specific, localized area of a muscle and is appropriate to detect trapezius muscle activity.
