Intussusception is common in children and infants but is rare in adults. We report a case in which submucosal lipoma led to enteroenteric intussusception. A 41-year-old woman had one-year history of frequent diffuse abdominal pain after meals. She presented with persistent diffuse abdominal pain for 3 days, as well as nausea, vomiting, and a palpable mass over the lower middle abdomen. Abdominal ultrasound examination and an abdominal computed tomography, revealed a typical image of enteroenteric intussusception caused by a lipoma. Surgical intervention confirmed a 4x2.5cm submucosal lipoma with enteroenteric intussusception. The patient recovered well, and was dischared ten days later.
