Adult Antral Diaphragm Asociated with Gastroduodenal Ulcerations and Helicobacter Pylori Infection: Report of a Case
成人胃幽門橫膈合併胃及十二指腸潰瘍與幽門螺旋桿菌感染：一病例報告

We report a 57-year-old man presenting with epigastric discomfort and intermittent hematochezia for one month. Upper gastrointestinal X-rays and endoscopy disclosed an annular membranous septum with surrounding mucosal ulcerations at gastric antrum and multiple ulcers at duodenal bulb. Colonoscopy revealed a 1.5 cm pedunculated adenomatous polyp at sigmoid colon which was successfully resected endoscopically. Gastric antrum Helicobacter pylori infection was identified by a positive urease test (CLO test). Eradication of Helicobacter pylori infection was documented after 2-week triple therapy and proton pump inhibitor was given for another two months. He remained asymptomatic during 3 months' follow-up.
