茄子砧木對茄子嫁接後植株生育之影響

摘要

以20個茄子砧木嫁接茄子3個栽培品種，植株生育除野生種「TS41」茄子砧木嫁接「屏東長茄」、「麻芝長茄」和「農友長茄」產生嫁接後生長不良、未成齡即死亡的現象外，多數組合之生長均顯著優於對照未嫁接植株，早期產量也獲得提昇，且果實品質無砧木引起之不良變異及影響。茄子栽培品種「屏東長茄」、「麻芝長茄」和「農友長茄」之嫁接栽培可選擇「小丹茄」及「VF（F1）」做砧木。

To study the effects of eggplant rootstocks on the growth and development of grafted eggplant, 3 commercial eggplant varieties were grafted onto 20 eggplant rootstocks in 1995-1996. The poor growth vigor on grafted eggplant cv. 'Pingtung Long', 'Matsu Long' and 'Known-You Long' in using 'TS41' eggplant as rootstock resulted in an early death. However, most of the grafted eggplants had higher growth vigor and early yield in comparison to the ungraft plants. No bad taste was found on fruits from grafted plants of using eggplant rootstocks. Experimental results suggested that Solanum torvum and 'VF (F1)' can be used as rootstocks to eggplant cv. 'Pingtung long', 'Matsu long' and 'Known-You long'.
