論王船山陰陽觀念的宇宙論意義

Wang Chuan-Shan on the Cosmological Meanings about Yin-Yang

摘要


在說明宇宙發生及其生成變化的問題時,船山反對宇宙是在時間進程中逐漸發生的「宇宙生化漸進論」。他提出「陰陽無始」,太極無端」的說法,以陰陽之本體等同於太極實體,將之視為宇宙萬有唯一的本體。萬有都是從此一本體之中,由太極實體自身「道用其全」,而「於上發生」者,宇宙生化乃是無始無,終故能生生不息。本文以「陰陽之體」、「陰陽相感和合」、「陰陽殊異之體」、「互為陰陽之體」等觀念,來展現船山宇宙論之中,生生不息的世界觀。

When answers the question about how the world is get to arise and change, Wang Chuan-Shan objects the view of the world was under a procession of birth、growth、decay and death, according to a time order, continuously from the be to not be, and then from not be to be again. Wang summits that Tai Ji or the entity of Ying-Yang was the ultimate entity, and there ware nothing could begin it and arise it. It is not according to a times order that all things come from the entity of Tai Ji, finally still come back to Tai Ji. In this paper, we explain some ideas to show the world of view about Wang Chuan-Shan; these ideas are the entity of Yin Yang; there are two things A and B that inter-function each other; if A is Ying, then B must be Yang, if A is Yang, then B must be Yin; everything in itself must be either Yin or yang.q
