This paper is meant to explore whether the metaphysical meanings of Zhuang Zi's philosophy are enough to develop a logical thinking dimension and therefore reveal a certain pattern of theoretical context. First of all, we will make a comprehensive analysis and argument about the Taoist issue of the ”relationship between people and the heaven,” regarding the multiple and open relationships between humanism and nature. Then we will set out from the basic consciousness of questioning in Zhuang Zi's philosophy and relate to the issues of moral practice and cultural reflection that Zhuang's philosophy is concerned with, so as to understand further the philosophical implications of the Taoist disenchantment of ancient religions. In this way, Zhuang Zi's doctrine of the heaven is fully justified as the core issue of Zhuang's metaphysics.
